Following a bench trial, Dennis Arthur Young was convicted of aggravated kidnapping, kidnapping, two counts of aggravated sexual assault, and one count of aggravated robbery. Two issues are raised on this appeal: (1) whether the defendant was denied due process when he was forced to proceed with the trial after the judge ruled that the defendant was not competent to change his plea at one point during trial; and (2) whether there was sufficient evidence...
