Toby Romano appeals from a judgment of conviction on one count of bribing a public official in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 201(b)(1)(A), and two counts of giving or promising a gratuity to a public official in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 201(c)(1)(A). He was tried before a jury and Judge Eugene H. Nickerson in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and sentenced to serve one year and one day and fined $25...
