Mr. Marcel Verbraeken was an employee in the Renewal Parts Section of Westinghouse Electric Corporation's Power Generation Division Headquarters in Orlando, Florida. An economic downturn in the power generation business led Westinghouse to reduce its work force in 1983. A low score in an evaluation put Mr. Verbraeken below the cutoff to be retained.
