ALLEN, Chief Justice.

Defendant appeals from a conviction after a court trial of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor, 23 V.S.A. § 1201(a)(2), on grounds that the arresting officer had no authority to stop and arrest him outside of his jurisdiction. We affirm.
