The appellant, Timothy Lee Moran, was convicted of rape in the first degree, a violation of § 13A-6-61, Code of Alabama 1975. He was sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment.

Appellant contends that there was insufficient evidence to convict him of rape in the first degree. According to § 13A-6-61(a)(1), a man "commits the crime of rape in the first degree if ... he engages in sexual intercourse...
