Defendant-Appellant David Russell Ah Choy (Appellant) appeals from his convictions for attempted murder in the second degree in violation of Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS) §§ 705-500 and 707-701.5(1), and robbery in the first degree in violation of HRS § 708-840(1)(b)(i). Appellant was sentenced to concurrent terms of life imprisonment with the possibility of parole for the attempted murder...
