Plaintiff-appellant, Valentine Guidry, brought suit against Winn-Dixie of Louisiana, Inc. (Winn-Dixie) for personal injury damages resulting from plaintiff's fall when she allegedly slipped on a foreign substance on the floor of defendant's store. The matter was tried before a jury of twelve which found plaintiff to be 100% at fault for the injuries she sustained as a result of her fall, and found Winn-Dixie to be completely free from fault.
