This is a suit by Joyce Swain, suing as beneficiary of the Estate of Billie Swain, for the proceeds on a credit life insurance policy taken out by her now-deceased husband, Billie Swain. On August 2, 1985 Billie Swain, a retiree of GMAC, purchased a car from Red River Motor Company ("Red River").
