BYRNES, Judge.

Harrison Rinehart appeals his conviction by a jury of issuing worthless checks in excess of $500.00 in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:71. We affirm.

On September 9, 1985 Rinehart purchased a mobile telephone unit and accessories for the unit from Electrocom Inc. He paid for the unit with a check in the amount of $1,500.00 and wrote a separate check in the amount of $71.13 for the accessories. Defendant's bank returned the two checks to Electrocom...
