This case centers around the seizure of two pickup trucks owned by Juana and Luis Mendoza by the Immigration and Naturalization Service. The trucks were allegedly used in the transportation of illegal aliens in violation of 8 U.S.C. § 1324(a)(1)(B). If this is true then the trucks are subject to forfeiture under 8 U.S.C. § 1324(b)(1).
