Appellant Vernon Edgar Cyr challenges an order granting summary judgment to appellee, Board of County Commissioners of Platte County (County), in his action for overtime compensation. Cyr's primary argument is that the oral contract by which he and his wife (not a party to the action) provided jailer and matron services to Platte County violates W.S. 27-5-101 (June 1987 Repl.) and is therefore void.
