Plaintiff and appellant, Western Capital and Securities, Inc. (Western), filed an action to recover $5,402.20 damages incurred when defendant and respondent, Helen Knudsvig, failed or refused to deliver a stock certificate after she allegedly requested Western to sell stock for her.
