This is a child abuse case in which the father, Roger Lazarovich, was convicted, after trial by jury, of the crimes of mayhem and assault and battery upon his daughter.1 Sentence of imprisonment followed on the mayhem conviction; the assault indictment was placed on file with the defendant's consent.
