On June 3, 1986, appellant, Eugene J. Celestine, was charged by bill of information with armed robbery, a violation of La.R.S. 14:64. On May 27, 1987, appellant entered a plea of guilty to the charge. A motion to withdraw the guilty plea was denied by the trial court.
