Emma Jean Hando appeals the grant of summary judgment to NERCO, Inc. (NERCO) by the Thirteenth Judicial District Court, Yellowstone County. The court granted summary judgment after holding that NERCO, as the parent/grandparent corporation of Spring Creek Coal Company (SCCC), had no duty to provide a safe work place for Hando and the other SCCC employees.
