Kim Arnold appeals his conviction for participation in a large conspiracy to distribute marijuana. In March 1988, a grand jury returned a three-count indictment against Arnold and 16 other defendants. Count 1 charged the defendants with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribution of in excess of 1,000 pounds of marijuana, in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 846, 841(a)(1).
