Marcel Hoste worked as a technician and engineer for Syracuse Electronics in the mid-1960's. He then returned to his native France and started a business named "Sedelec." Hassan Kadah, president of Syracuse Electronics, became a 50% owner of Sedelec, giving Sedelec the exclusive right to manufacture and distribute certain Syracuse Electronics products in Europe. Kadah and Hoste decided to change the name of Sedelec to "Syracuse Electronics France." Sometime...
