PIVARNIK, Justice.

On September 18, 1986, Ronald L. Mason was convicted by jury of count I, dealing in narcotic drug, a class A felony; and count II, possession of narcotic drug, a class C felony. He was also found to be a habitual offender. Mason was sentenced to 50 years on count I, enhanced by 30 years for the habitual offender finding. He was sentenced to 8 years on count II, which sentence was merged with the sentence...
