OPINION

LATTIMORE, Justice.

Appellant, Byron Glen Howard was charged with assault with bodily injury, criminal mischief, and criminal trespass. TEX.PENAL CODE ANN. secs. 22.01, 28.03, 30.05 (Vernon 1989). Howard received a sentence of six months confinement in the Tarrant County Jail for each of the three offenses and a total of $5000 in fines after a jury verdict of guilty on each offense.
