OPINION

MEYERS, Justice.

James Alison Hall, Jr. pled guilty to the court to the offense of robbery by threats. See TEX. PENAL CODE ANN. sec. 29.02(a)(2) (Vernon 1989). Hall also pled true to one enhancement paragraph and was sentenced to twenty-five years confinement in the Texas Department of Corrections. On appeal, Hall claims the trial court erred by failing to hold sua sponte a competency hearing. Hall also claims his trial counsel rendered ineffective...
