JURISDICTION

The jury convicted defendant, Richard Lino Valles, of attempted armed robbery, aggravated assault, and two counts of kidnapping. The jury found each offense to be of a dangerous nature. The trial court found that defendant was on parole when these offenses occurred. The trial court sentenced him to four concurrent life sentences pursuant to A.R.S. § 13-604.02(A).
