Lionel Miskell was convicted by a jury of aggravated burglary. The Trial Judge sentenced him to 7 years hard labor and ordered him to pay $80.00 court costs or to serve an additional 30 days. Immediately after sentencing, the Court granted Miskell's oral motion for appeal and then accepted the State's habitual offender charge, commonly known as a multiple bill, alleging Miskell was an habitual offender.
