Plaintiff was injured on August 25, 1987 when a bathroom ceiling collapsed and fell on plaintiff, allegedly fracturing his skull and causing numerous other injuries. Plaintiff timely filed a petition against Anita Silvernail, the owner of the property in which the alleged injuries occurred, First Financial Bank and the Civil Sheriff for the Parish of Orleans. First Financial Bank had commenced foreclosure proceedings against the owner of the building...
