WATSON, Justice.

After being stopped at a DWI roadblock in Shreveport, Louisiana, Victor Church was charged with driving without a license and first offense DWI. His motion to suppress the evidence of intoxication obtained at the roadblock was granted by the trial court, but the court of appeal reversed the judgment.1 A writ was granted to consider whether the roadblock violated Church's rights guaranteed by the Louisiana Constitution...
