This appeal results from consolidated suits growing out of an automobile accident. On October 18, 1983, a 1983 Buick owned by Ellis L. Coleman, Sr. and his wife, Myrtle, was traveling south on U.S. 71 near Coushatta. Mrs. Coleman was the driver, and her daughter, Patti, and Mrs. Katherine G. Saffel were passengers. James L. Bamburg, who had clearly been drinking, was operating a 1974 Chevrolet Nova owned by Rodney Messick in a northerly direction...
