Defendant, Frank Akharoh, was charged by bill of information with distribution of cocaine, in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967 A(1) and possession of cocaine, in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967 C and F. Defendant pleaded guilty to the distribution charge and the State nolle prossed the possession charge.
