The issue in this appeal is whether the trial court abused its discretion in deeming admitted appellee's requests for admissions.

On September 4, 1987, appellee sued appellant for workers' compensation benefits. Appellant filed a general denial, and both parties proceeded with discovery. On October 22, 1987, appellee sent appellant 29 requests for admissions. Approximately 30 days...
