Following a jury trial, judgment was entered in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Sprizzo, J.) in favor of plaintiff James Staffer for $480,650.38 plus costs and interest against Bouchard Transportation, Inc. and Frederick E. Bouchard, Inc. (collectively "Bouchard"), his employers, for injuries he suffered while working as a deckhand. Following a second jury trial in the same court, judgment was entered against...
