This suit arises out of an accident involving a tractor trailer driven by Brannon and owned by the B.F. Goodrich Company, and a Volkswagen automobile in which the plaintiff Sharp was a passenger. The plaintiff brought suit for injuries arising from the accident; the jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $400,000.
