Defendant Terrones and two codefendants were indicted for knowingly and intentionally importing 737 pounds of cocaine (335 kilograms) into the United States. If convicted, this offense carries a mandatory minimum of ten years incarceration, a maximum penalty of life imprisonment, a mandatory minimum of at least five years of supervised release, and a four million dollar fine. 21 U.S.C.A. § 841(b)(1)(A)(ii)(II) ...
