This is a direct appeal of a criminal conviction. After a jury trial, the defendant-appellant, Orlando Zapata, was found guilty of conspiracy to distribute cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and travel in interstate commerce to facilitate the illicit activity.
