This case involves traveler's checks which were purchased in Iran and lost in New York. The same parties were before this Court in Thomas C. Cook, Inc. v. Rowhanian, 700 S.W.2d 672 (Tex.App.—El Paso 1985, writ ref'd n.r.e.). We reverse and render in part and affirm in part and reform the judgment of the trial court so as to award recovery for the value of the checks which were...
