Plaintiffs in this action claim that several Chicago police officers violated their constitutional rights in connection with their arrest on April 4, 1988. Specifically, plaintiffs claim that the officers unjustifiably harassed them, beat them, incarcerated them, failed to inform them of their rights, and failed to provide them the medical care necessary to treat the injuries they sustained as a result of being beaten.
