MENTZ, District Judge.

Before the Court is the motion of defendant, Trico Marine, Inc., for judgment notwithstanding the verdict, for reconsideration, or alternatively, for a new trial. The Court, after carefully reviewing the memoranda submitted by counsel and the applicable law, finds that Trico's arguments are without merit and denies Trico's motion for the reasons set forth below.
