The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation ("FDIC") in its corporate capacity and pursuant to 12 U.S.C. § 1811 et seq. filed its complaint in this case on May 21, 1986 seeking to foreclose various mortgages issued by the now defunct Banco Crédito y Ahorro Ponceño (Banco Crédito).
