In this case we consider whether a party with limited involvement in a pork brokering arrangement is a seller of a security under 15 U.S.C. § 77l (2). The district court concluded that seller status and liability under section 12(2) of the Securities Act of 1933 extends only to the pork broker who solicited the plaintiff's investment in the broker's commodity fund.
