This is an original mandamus proceeding by which Relator, the natural father and sole surviving parent of the minor child Jennifer, seeks to compel Respondent, Judge Dixon, to vacate an order denying Relator's request for habeas corpus relief and appointing John and Judy Holcombe, the child's maternal grandparents, temporary managing conservators.
