Plaintiff, a former Larimer County, Colorado, deputy sheriff, contends that his civil rights protected by 42 U.S.C. § 1983 were violated when his employment was terminated on March 11, 1987. He filed this action March 13, 1989. Defendants are James W. Black, the Sheriff of Larimer County and the Larimer County Sheriff's Department.
