Gregory Paul Johnson was charged by bill of information with aggravated burglary, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:60.1 He was tried by jury and convicted of the responsive offense of simple burglary. The state filed a petition pursuant to LSA-R.S. 15:529.1, charging that defendant was a fourth felony offender. After a hearing on the state's petition, the court found that defendant was a second felony offender and sentenced him...
