INTRODUCTION

These consolidated appeals arise out of a financially troubled construction project. In Great Western v. Easley, an Anchorage jury found the construction lender — Great Western Federal Savings Bank — liable to the general contractor — George W. Easley Company — under several tort and contract theories.
