This case arises out of a suit by appellant, Pilgrim Life Insurance Company of America (Pilgrim), against appellee, American Bank & Trust Company of Opelousas (American Bank), for the return of $4,859.82 which was paid by Pilgrim to American Bank and which Pilgrim alleges was not due. The district court denied recovery and Pilgrim now appeals.
