VANDE WALLE, Justice.

This is an appeal from a judgment dismissing the plaintiff's negligence claim. We affirm.

On November 1, 1985, the defendant, Phyllis McLees, was driving south on Main Street in Watford City. Main Street runs north and south and is protected from traffic on Third Avenue by stop signs.
