HOLMES, J.

The sole issue for our determination in this case is whether the state's evidence was sufficient, beyond a reasonable doubt, to prove each essential element of the offense defined in R.C. 1333.92, prohibiting pyramid sales plans or programs. For the reasons which follow, we answer such query in the affirmative, and thus reverse the court of appeals.
