The sole issue presented by this appeal is whether or not the sentence imposed on the defendant is excessive.

On January 29, 1988, Bennie J. Maddox (hereinafter sometimes referred to as the defendant) was charged by bill of information with the crime of molestation of a juvenile, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:81.2. On March 21, 1988, the defendant pled guilty to a lesser charge of indecent behavior with a juvenile, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:81....
