CRAIN, Judge.
The defendant, Bobby Daniels, was charged by Grand Jury indictment with second degree murder, in violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1. He pled not guilty and, after trial by jury, was found guilty as charged. He received the mandatory sentence of life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
