This appeal arises out of a car-train collision occurring in Conroe, Texas, on February 4, 1983. The train was owned and operated by Missouri Pacific Railroad Company and the automobile was owned and operated by Irene Mallard Parks. Three of the four automobile passengers, all minors, were injured in the collision.
