This suit involves a slip and fall which occurred during renovations of Baton Rouge General Hospital. On September 28, 1984, the plaintiff1, Mack F. Palmer, III, during the course and scope of his employment with Lanehart, Inc. as a sheet rock finisher, suffered injuries when he slipped and fell in the lobby of the Baton Rouge General Hospital.
