In this case, the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation, acting in its Corporate Capacity ("FSLIC Corporate"), seeks to recover on four promissory notes signed by defendant, Larry V. Locke ("Locke"). The four notes at issue here were purchased by FSLIC Corporate from an insolvent thrift.
