NUGENT, Judge.

Plaintiff Paul Cox appeals from the trial court's order affirming the Columbia City Manager's decision to dismiss Cox from the City of Columbia police force. We affirm.

The circumstances surrounding Mr. Cox's dismissal arose as follows. Mr. Cox accompanied four other policemen, Officers Pestle, Dresner, Brown and Sergeant Haws, to investigate a break-in at a local high school building. The officers heard noises from within the building and discovered...
