GIVAN, Justice.

A jury found appellant guilty of two counts of Murder and recommended the imposition of the death penalty, which was imposed.

The facts are: On the night of October 10, 1984, George Chestovich heard a loud roar of an engine, then three or four loud noises coming from outside his home on Marquette Road in Lake Station.
